The Empire State Building, located at the corner of 34th Street and 5th Avenue, is a 102-story Art Deco style building. It was designed by Shreve, Lamb and Harmon and finished in 1931. The building took its name from the nickname of New York State, and after 9/11, it has become again the tallest building in New York.
